SkullyBoom SB1 is a portable amplified speaker system that works with any audio device. Lets see what can I say about this little speaker. When I first got this strange looking thing I went right to the bad part of my mind. First thought “this is going to suck” Then I took it home charged and was ready to give this little guy the work out of his life.  I clipped it to my bike and pitched out for a ride in the city. i think i dropped this guy from my bike about 4 times once on the hood of a cab. Shit just kept rocking!!!! Then I took it to the beach rolled in the sand then dropped in the water, no fucking way it still worked. Right then and there I was sold this little shit not only sounded amazing but took a beating as well. The design is just ok . I think they need to bring in some mainstream streetwear guys to help it out. But that’s any easy fix CALL US UP WOULD LOVE TO DO COLLABORATION !!!!! My only down fall to this little dance in your pants is the play time- on a full charge I only got an hour and 20min for me that’s not good enough. For the next one bulk up the play time and this will be the best little pocket blaster ever. But for now I’m down for my skullyboom to bad I can’t say that for the people on the train while I was testing it. Fuckem!!!! This little fucker rocked the shit out the NY subway.

I used to love hypebeast for the fact that they got their hands on shit months before any one ever got it. This was the reason I read this blog. I am in the streetwear fashion world and they got my brands shit before I even got it. I have no Idea how this shit went down but they were good at what they did. Mad hype to you guys on that end. I still read their blog on a day to day deal. But I think today just pushed me over the edge. What the fuck guys Mod cart ad are you fucking kidding me I know you gotta get paid but some Mario Kart shit. I’m shocked that you guys don’t have any Toy Story 3 ads up. For fucks sake sell the Boat and get back on track stop with all the Press Releases and get back to amazing finds out there. Yea I know the press releases because they email them to us as well. I will keep this to the point and let historical facts speak for themselves. Anyone who has a smidgen of intelligence has heard of Hitler, the Third Reich and the infamous SS. Their logo is one of the most poignant  images ever created by man, and connotes unspeakable horrors and the genocide of millions.

As if the intended usage of one of the worst images you could think of is not enough, there is an added elements of drips, which just happen to be red and highly reminiscent of blood (on the white tee). Are they joking ? What kind of perverse and sick person would ever dare to put that on a shirt ? They claim they are almost sold out, so it is even worse that people are buying this. It is beyond disgusting and so hugely offensive, that i call upon all you people with a common sense to not only boycott this company but to send them a stern email on their more than serious “misstep”, granted it is one, and this is not some undercover white power movement. Take a stand and make it clear that we, the people, refuse to accept this sort of fascist propaganda on garments, whether or not it was intentional. This is not a joke!!! MILLIONS of people died at the hands of the SS! It is not any sort of statement besides a symbol of hate and thus completely inexcusable. We are all one people and we have to fight hard to keep tolerance and respect for all creeds, sexualities, religions etc. in our society in order to create a positive world. Do not let people and “companies” step on this vision and misuse images of horrors that actually took place a mere 65 years ago  for a FUCKING T-SHIRT!

For all of you in the fashion world now that CIT is the backer for most of the lines small to Med size. Some of you are thinking this could be good for my line this may push out the lines that have over spent. In turn this is another sign that we have become so greedy we relay on someone elses money now we are seeing it all crashing down around us. I know some Clothing companies are sweating balls today waiting to see if they are going to File Chapter 11. If so Kiss your money good bye. Here is something for you all stop being so greedy make money the old fashion way work hard on your own dime.

Robnsteel Clothing I took some snapshots of the new gear at the show. This shit is so sick. Robnsteel is my pick for the best line in Magic Streetwear. I tried to hook up one of their tees at Michel K’s in SOHO but the shit was sold out before I got there. I can’t say enough about this line but it gives me fatih that people still desgin and not just manufacture hype.  Much luv to these guys. Keep it up.

I was amazed when I walked around the corner at pool to see that Plamercash had their own booth. And it was placed right next to some of their big sellers ( Crooked Monkey and Ames Bro. ) This was Crazy are you trying to tell your vendors that you are cutting them out, and trying to take a part of their market. WOW to me that is just a big slap in the face. If I was one of their selling brands I would no longer sell to them. But i guess in a lot of ways I would not stress to much their booth was dead, and their t-shirts looked really bad. I am really over the whole funny T-shirt act your time has come taking of store space. Stick to the web site guys don’t try to be something your not.

Where to start – Well for one the show was way to big. There was no way a buyer could really focus on any new brands. And if you were a new brand for sure you where a needle in a hay stack. I walked the show for 3 days and each day I saw a new brand that I had not see the day before. The point is what happened to that Amazing little show that had cutting edge brands that now other show had. Remember, the show used to hand pick there brands. I would say the show had a hand full of good brands but then a boat load of crap.

Project Show Las Vegas

This could be the start of the end of Magic, brands starting their own shows. The hype and the excitement of Magic always layed in Streetwear. The air was let out of the Ties in streetwear and SLATE with the launch of Christian Audigier – Ed Hardy – When I move you move Trade show. This show was the buzz of Vegas. I am not kidding people that where not even in town for the show were talking about it.  As I walked the streetwear part of Magic it seemed like there was something missing. Yes Yes streetwear still had its Ghetto Stars but there really was no life to it.(wow Rick Ross was there)- Big deal !!!

S.L.A.T.E. was just dead, I really feel people are done with the whole hip cool guy bullshit this come from these lines. But the Words on every buyers mouths was “Christian Audigier – Ed Hardy – When I move you move Trade show”  I do have to say my ears were open to this whole hype. To put out there: the show was amazing buyers were writing paper, people were having a great time, over it all they had what Magic was missing – The Buyers with money!!! (Oh yea and every Star was there!!)  This show made this trip to Vegas worth it all. I will always love streetwear but I also think you kids need to step it up. I have never been to a more Half ass tradeshow in my life. First off Project is known for the bag that they pass out this shows bag was cheaply made, it was a canvas tote bag. Second – when I walked the show I felt like it was all the same brand. Wait now that’s not all true there was one Brand that stood out First Brand clothing visit their site. Back to it – the show was boring and a waste of time, I really hope they step it up for Las Vegas if not I say this show is dead in the water. No Good brands and no buyers. Done Deal.
