I really don’t have a lot to say about the united tradeshow in NY, and what I do have to say is not good. It took be all of 3 mins to walk the whole show. For one it was so small for the other there was nothing much to get me to stop. The only some what good lines at this show was; RZST clothing, Green Apple Tree, Kill Shop Kill, and Mishka. Other then those line every things looked liked shit. I was really let down by the guys from Frank 151 who had nothing but hats, my advice stick to the magazine because your fashion sucks. I can really understand why this show was dead!!!!!! Lines sucked and the marketing was really bad. Who ever was in charge of this I think it’s time to let them go. United you let me down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obey Brand Clothing
I Used to be a die hard fan of Obey clothing now I find my self checking out obey gear just to see how they are trying to capture the mainstream market. I don’t really need to go over the Histroy of Obey because if you are reading a streetwear blog you already know. But from the base of fashion to what Obey as become I must give them a big thumbs down for their shirt desgins. Come on really who still makes all over prints no one that has any fashion Ideas. Not only is it an all over print they are still trying to push the I am so cool because I am so RETRO tape look.

But on the other hand????? I do have to give obey a little credit(or do I) they are trying some what to become a clothing line, and not just a t-shirt line. This Port coat is a great start. But I think for now I am going to have to step off of the Obey bus, if need be go back to just the basic logo and in the mean time fire your designer.

This shop is everything 80′s I have no Idea if that is good or bad. I guess it all depends on what “Neighborhood” you live in. So I guess this is good news for all of you wanna be Hipsters that never had a chance to be apart of the 80′s. Other then that this shop is what it is, and for what it it is a think it just an ok shop. I guess I am really in the middle of the road with this place.

Hype Shoe stores in New York City. Places with Throwback Nikes.
Prodigy NYC
17 ave B
new york, ny 10009
212.228.4737
Most of the time I don’t even take the time to walk in to shoe stores like this but I had a few seconds to kill before dinner. And After wasting my time by walking into Prodigy NYC I will never make that mistake again. First off the whole I am to cool to talk to you because I rock some throwback nikes is over. This by far was one of the worst shops I have ever been in. No one asked me for help as a matter of fact I don’t even think they gave shit I was in their store. This shop as nothing to offer to the shoe culture. If you must support nikes I say spend your money at some other shop like KCDC or Flight club. Prodigy NYC just needs to burn down.

The Sticker Guy
https://www.stickerguy.com/
We are always looking for ways to get our name out, with out it costing a ton of cash. One way to get this job done is with stuckers. We all know that the Sticker Guy is the cheapest!!! Where else in the world can you get stickers for this-
Red and black
4.25″ x 2.75″
500 stickers for $86 ppd
This is an amazing price. But my first thought was “there is no way these are good stickers” So to put it to the test. I placed a sticker order, and here is what I found out. The price was right for sure, but the wait time was not. It took me about 6 weeks to get my stickers, so if you are in a rush this is not the place for you. The ordering process was really smooth. After a long wait I dug into the box of new stickers and ran right out posting. I wanted to get as many up before the winter hit so I can see how long they will last. Now here it is !!!! I do have to give it to the sticker guy my stickers were still up after a long winter and into the summer. There was no fading and they looked as good as new. So if you dont mind the 6 to 8 week turn around time then the sticker guy is your one stop shop for the basic one color sticker.

Well it’s that time again to pack up and head to Vegas for Magic. I love and hate this show for so many reason. First off the shit is way to big, second all the small streetwear brands usally suck (yes that went out to crap like anything NYC, The hundreds, crooks and castles and every other I am to cool brand) . But I also love it at the same time becuase there are so many company that are on the cutting edge of fashion, and this is my love. But I guess this is the time of year that half ass shops can come to a show and feel like they really have some sort of style. These are the companies that i will be looking at and trust me the list is not long.
9Grand Clothing website
Robinsteal Clothing
WESC
Green Apple Tree
Dyecast Clothing
Touch Clothing
Spoonfed
Other then that I am just going for the free stuff and to see what other companies have ripped off from me.
Thanks and have a good time.

What can I say about eastwest wait I know what to say – This is the worst place to spend your money!!!!! Even though they are the only shop is the area I would still drive an hour into the city to shop at a real streetwear boutique. Why you ask? Because these guys can give to shits about fashion for them its all about how cool they look and how much money they can make off of you. Trust me eastwest is not the trend setting shop they may want you to think. What they do is just fallow the trends. One day they are the Raver shop then they are the big hip hop shop now they want to be the streetwear hang out. Come on get off the nuts pick something. I have to say that when I shopped there no one helped me at all and the shirt I bought was over priced. I had high hope for this shop but once again it was another let down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t shop there!!!!!! maybe you should toss some eggs at the place. EASTWEST PISS OFF

I thought was done with all this mixing look at me I am a so cool DJ clothing. Then Some kid handed me a sticker out side of magic. The sticker was amazing. Now, just like everyone else in the world I 2 was a dj at one point in time. So it really catches my eye when I see a Record focused sticker. Any way not really the point. The point is when I got home I decided to look up Mixer Friendly. At first I expected to see the normal cliché dj shirts you know the kind if not just look up ESDJCO(which is shit by the way). But to my surprise this not what I found. I must say I am really impress on how these guys have added some sort of class to the realm of DJ gear. Not all of the designs I would rock but a few of them are on my need to have list. Here are a few.

I must say thanks to these guys and mail me some more sticker Bitches!!!!!!!!!!

I first stayed away from WESC living in NY you see their logos every place. And of course I really dont want to look like everyone else. But now its time for me to eat my words on WESC. I broke down the other day and bought a t-shirt, I wanted to see what all the hype was about. This is the one I got just the basic logo tee

The basic of the tee: Front print; ribbed neckline; 100% cotton with a rubber logo patch on the sleeve. in the store I could feel that the cotton was really soft but I had no Idea how soft it was going to be till I got on. I have no idea what they do to these shirts but I will say!!!!!!! it!!!!!! hands down it’s the softest tee I have ever picked up. Not only does it feel great but the cut and the fit of the shirt are just as amazing as it feels. Price 27.00 for sure I would spend it again. But now well see how long its going to last.

Well I just bought my self a pair of classic slip on vans for the first time in almost 20 years. This is my boycott to the whole Nike bullshit. Now I know that in some circles, that buying vans would put me on the same level as the whole nike movement. But I guess I really don’t care. I used to rock the classic Chucks but now that nike owns Converse I feel its time to say good buy. Maybe one day when this whole 2000.00 a pair goes away I might think about picking a pair up. But until then its New balance and vans for me.
