This could be the start of the end of Magic, brands starting their own shows. The hype and the excitement of Magic always layed in Streetwear. The air was let out of the Ties in streetwear and SLATE with the launch of Christian Audigier – Ed Hardy – When I move you move Trade show. This show was the buzz of Vegas. I am not kidding people that where not even in town for the show were talking about it. As I walked the streetwear part of Magic it seemed like there was something missing. Yes Yes streetwear still had its Ghetto Stars but there really was no life to it.(wow Rick Ross was there)- Big deal !!!
S.L.A.T.E. was just dead, I really feel people are done with the whole hip cool guy bullshit this come from these lines. But the Words on every buyers mouths was “Christian Audigier – Ed Hardy – When I move you move Trade show” I do have to say my ears were open to this whole hype. To put out there: the show was amazing buyers were writing paper, people were having a great time, over it all they had what Magic was missing – The Buyers with money!!! (Oh yea and every Star was there!!) This show made this trip to Vegas worth it all. I will always love streetwear but I also think you kids need to step it up. Christian Audigier – Ed Hardy The new kings of the Fashion World.

christian audigier doesn’t make streetwear, which makes this entire blog entry somewhat confusing. ok, they had a lot of stars there. guess what? plenty of stars also diss the fuck out of his shit. kanye west, most notably, went on stage and called it the garbage it is. streetwear is a culture, a fashion aesthetic that comprises the most subversive facets of street/skate/hip-hop. audigier is trendy bullshit that tools wear with the hope of scoring pussy.
audigier is the corvette of clothing, quite frankly.
I went to When I Move You Move (most awkward name ever).
It was dead. 8 tacky girls in even tackier boxing outfits dancing bored and some stars sitting confused in an empty convention room you had to take 14 escalators to arrive it. Buyers were more rare than good taste at this convention.
I know Ed Hardy and Audigier is the choice brand of megalomaniacs but you are just lying in this article… stop making your over inflated ego appear more transparent than it does already… The whole show looked like a bad plan that seemed like the best idea in the world– at 4 am after blowing through an 8-ball.

This is funny. I am a buyer for a nation wide chain and I was at this show last August and is was totally dead. No buyer no money. So I have no idea how many free T shirts the writer of this article got in order to write this lie. But this was a very bad show. This time my Buyers are not going to even bother to go there. Project and Magic are still Kings.
