What can I say about eastwest wait I know what to say – This is the worst place to spend your money!!!!! Even though they are the only shop is the area I would still drive an hour into the city to shop at a real streetwear boutique. Why you ask? Because these guys can give to shits about fashion for them its all about how cool they look and how much money they can make off of you. Trust me eastwest is not the trend setting shop they may want you to think. What they do is just fallow the trends. One day they are the Raver shop then they are the big hip hop shop now they want to be the streetwear hang out. Come on get off the nuts pick something. I have to say that when I shopped there no one helped me at all and the shirt I bought was over priced. I had high hope for this shop but once again it was another let down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t shop there!!!!!! maybe you should toss some eggs at the place. EASTWEST PISS OFF

here are a few places to shop

I’ve shopped at EastWest and I can back you up on almost everything you said. First off don’t ever make the mistake of comparing EastWest to your DQM, ARC, Atmos, Union, Blue & Creams, or any other reputable boutiques that actually respect the brands they are selling and the industry they represent because they don’t.
EASTWEST IS A SMOKESHOP THAT JUST HAPPENS TO SELL STREET/LIFESTYLE labels equipped with pipes, blunts, baggies, and other drug paraphernalia. They claim to be in the business since 97′ but ask yourself what they were selling in 97′. I’m loosely quoting the owner (Jesse Moss), but he once told me that in the stores early years he was selling brands such as UFO, Draven, and Dubwise because that was what was widely considered to be street/lifestyle wear at the trade shows. I mean this low life even sells Drug Detox in his shop. He’s and embarrassment to all the labels he sells in his shop and anyone who has respect for the pioneers that help mold this scene to what it is today.

Lol…I search “Streetwear in Long Island” & this is the 4th result. Homie I’ve been to many boutiques & shops in NY and I can’t put eastwest on the best list. They got some nice accounts, but if you going shopping in long island there are better places to spend your money. These guys sell body jewelry, band tee shirts, my dude they even have a smoke shop lol. I used to shop there a few years back and they were like a hot topic & spencers…you know them raver freak shops. Only brand they had was LRG. So I feel you when you say they just got on the streetwear bandwagon. The only cred they got is that they had LRG & 10 Deep for a minute, but other than that they just copy commonwealth and other shops to figure out what’s hot. Only good thing I can say is that they had 2 employees that were always good to me when I shopped there. Some kid named drew & some token black dude that knew his shit. Black dude was like a dictionary and was the only person there that could talk to me about brands that weren’t in the store. I feel bad for them dudes even having to work in a place like that. No disrespect to them two, but don’t shop at eastwest. Bistro, special sauce, Extra butter, blue & cream if you live in L.I. eastwest is a black eye on dis shit.
