Let me see what can I say about Hot Rod? Really not much their store is about 1400 SQF and they had maybe 7 Hoodies in it, and maybe 10 shirts. Lets see most of it was Fresh jive, i think they had 2 WESC items and maybe a few hundredes items. Most of the Stuff in the shop was there own 80’s skate rip off desgins. I think the one item that made me walk out was the DQM rip off shirt. WOW. So I guess I am trying to say DON’T SHOP AT Hot Rod !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must say this store was a breath of fresh Air. This cool little boutique is set in the middle of the crappy surf world. This is what makes it a breath of fresh air. But I must say they so carry some good brands and the staff was really nice(unlike most LA boutiques). I would say if you wake up one morning and you find your self in some shitty quicksilver gear that you got a becker surf shop and, you really want to get some good gear!!!!!!!!!!!! Powerline 6 is your only stop in the area. The Carry paul Frank, WESC, Estevan oriol , and many others. So stop by and check it out. I wish I would give you a web site to check out but yet once again a store with out a web site.

What made me stop at this booth was my amazement that some one is still doing the whole gun shirt. I am over this BS especially when is it some corny nerdy boy who for sure has never even touched a gun. But Trust me he was not the only one at the show who was still printing this crap. Its done get over it move on. www.breadup.com Bread Garment Bakery really has done nothing new I really can’t see any of this moving past a few shops. And if in the end I am worng and it does get big, I have a bridge in NY that I want to sell you.

Manifest Clothing for me at Magic was the Bigggggggest load of shit. They were set in campground and who ever let these guys in should lose their job. First off how the fuck do you guys at Maifest sleep at night. i mean you just take other peoples designs and add something little and then call it your own. IN MY BOOK THAT MEANS RIP OFF. The sad part is I bet some kids really bought in to this shit. And I would put my last nickle, that it’s the same dumb ass kids that buy into the whole Crooks shit. In the Manifest Catalog it says “Producing New and fresh Graphics” I want to know what is new and fresh about jacking the De La Soul cover or the Tribe cover or the Getto Boys logo. I can see these guys Put a lot of time and thought into this. Trash this shit and please start over. Next time don’t be so upfront about ripping people off.

The Clapback just returned from Magic and trust me we have a lot to talka about. Don’t forget The Clapback was also at ASR and the Agenda show. We will be talking about the Agenda show but now way in hell will we talk about the half ass ASR show.
